About Caliber Leather Restoration

Caliber Leather Restoration was built on a simple belief: quality furniture deserves proper care, not shortcuts. What began as hands-on work with leather restoration developed into a focused craft centered on repairing and restoring worn leather furniture and seating. Each project is approached with respect for the original construction, comfort, and long-term durability of the piece.

Our Story

Over time, we’ve learned that no two pieces — and no two clients — are the same. Some furniture can be carefully repaired, while other pieces require foam rebuilding, structural correction, or full restoration. The goal is never to push unnecessary work, but to recommend the approach that makes the most sense for comfort, appearance, function, and longevity.

Materials & Craftmanship

We specialize in leather repair and restoration, recliner repair, foam cushion replacement, and commercial seating restoration. Every project is completed with careful attention to detail, from surface preparation and color matching to foam rebuilding and final finishing.

The objective is not simply to make furniture look newer, but to restore how it feels and functions while preserving the character of the original piece.

Our Commitment

Caliber Leather Restoration is locally operated and focused on consistent, reliable workmanship. We proudly serve Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Lincoln, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Sacramento, and surrounding Northern California communities.

Every project is handled with clear communication, honest recommendations, and attention to long-term durability rather than temporary cosmetic fixes.

How We Approach Restoration

Restoration is as much about judgment as it is about technique. Before any work begins, we evaluate the condition of the leather, structure, foam support, wear patterns, and overall usability of the piece. This allows us to determine whether the furniture should be repaired, restored, rebuilt, or partially replaced.

In many cases, worn leather furniture can be carefully restored without full replacement. Recliners may require structural repair or mechanism adjustments, while cushions often benefit from foam rebuilding to restore comfort and support. Making the right decision upfront helps prevent repeat issues and ensures results that hold up over time.

Who We Serve

We work with both residential and commercial clients throughout the Sacramento and surrounding areas. Projects commonly include leather sofas, recliners, sectional seating, office furniture, restaurant seating, waiting area seating, and other high-use leather furnishings.

Each project is approached individually with clear communication, realistic recommendations, and attention to long-term durability.
